About The Artist:
Suzanne Clem-Wheeler spent the first forty years of her life creating art representing that which she saw around her. Today, in response to her recent life lessons, she paints from a less constricting spiritual place as she engages audiences with her performance art; art painted live in response to music all while moving expressively and occasionally belting out songs.
An accomplished portrait artist, Suzanne has painted for several of the United States notable families. It is frequently said that she captures the elusive moment that truly represents the personality of the subject.
In 2003, in response to an allergic reaction to oil paints, she began exploring the use of natural brush emulation software, Corel Painter and travelled the country to learn the methods of Corel Master Painters. Suzanne attended Indiana University Bloomington, studying and working on theatrical design at the Musical Arts Center. Early in her professional career she has painted theatrical scenery, and residential and commerical murals and faux finishes.
