A native daughter of Georgia, Donna Biggee has been inspired by fond memories of her experiences with family and friends in the south. Her landscapes capture the serenity of her roots

and depict the vivid colors of the southern seasons. Donna works in pastels, oils, acrylics and watercolors. Her studio paintings are based on her plein air studies. Her works can be

found in both private and corporate collections.

"Plein air is my passion. In nature one sees such subtle nuances of color and light and I love the challenge of trying to capture that moment on paper or canvas. It is

my intent to communicate through my use of color, atmosphere and sunlight, that I can capture the love of the subject and my hope is that the viewer can

step into the scene and be there for a moment."
